It’s a giant playground: from dirt tracks to more challenging routes, there is plenty of choice for everyone. Come and explore the region on two wheels!
Ready to let off steam?
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, the Verbier Bikepark is the place to go. You can zoom down 8 different downhill trails of varying degrees of difficulty.
Verbier is undeniably one of the best places in Switzerland for downhill biking. The trails have all been named in the local dialect, for example “Tsopu” (which means “slowly”), “Chôtatai” (“sit down”) or “Bortabitche” (“the beast” – which speaks for itself!).
Whether you are a beginner or wish to improve your skills, make your way to the Verbier Bikeschool & Guide, the first downhill biking school in Verbier. You can take a half-day course during which qualified guides will take you along a suitable trail and give you tips and advice.
Have a look at the Verbier Bikepark website for further information, to find a course and download the GPX files.
New in 2022: A new flow trail has opened! Rated “green”, this course is aimed at mountain bikers of every level, including children and beginners. Enjoy a leisurely ride and discover the fun of downhill mountain biking.

Mountain biking for everyone
Do you enjoy racing down technical trails just as much as pedalling hard when you’re going uphill?
Verbier 4Vallées has 18 enduro trails and hundreds of kilometres of cross-country trails, so you have plenty of choice. Take the lift up and then whizz down the slopes.
For younger cyclists, the Verbier Ski School (ESS) organises the Kids Bike League, which allows children to discover the joys of mountain biking and develop their skills while having lots of fun. These courses are available, during the afternoon, in July and August. Bookings can be made on the ESS Verbier website.
The Tour du Mont-Fort is a mountain bike itinerary which links 3 resorts: Verbier, La Tzoumaz and Nendaz (in that order). There are two options: one of medium difficulty and one for advanced bikers.
Easy Rider
The Easy Rider is a trail of medium difficulty, suitable for sporty families with children aged 12 and over, as well as bikers who enjoy a good outing. The Télénendaz and Téléverbier lifts can be used for most of the climbs, so you can focus on the descent and don’t have to pedal on more than 2/3 of the trail. The level of skill required is relatively low so this is the perfect option for a nice day out in the mountains, where the emphasis is on enjoyment rather than performance.
Pro Rider
The Pro Rider is for more experienced cross-country bikers who aren’t afraid to pedal up mountains! The only exception is on the Tortin – Col des Gentianes stretch, where the cable car is the only way of getting to the other side of the mountain.

Going further doesn't have to be harder
How about enjoying the fresh air and panoramic views without tiring yourself out?
With an e-bike, you can go further, higher and for longer, all while enjoying the tranquillity of the surroundings. You can hire an e-bike from one of the specialist shops in the region, where staff will be happy to advise you on the most appropriate model.
Then, take a look at the trail map, hop onto your bike and off you go!
