At an altitude of 2,300 metres high above Verbier, the cross-country ski trail between Les Ruinettes and La Chaux is a real treat for fans of Nordic skiing and sports enthusiasts looking to try something new.
From the very first stride, fall under the charm of the amazing view of the Combins massif and the Bagnes Valley.
Starting right beside the Les Ruinettes cable car station, the perfectly groomed main piste stretches over a 6km round trip to La Chaux – the perfect trail for immersing yourself in the beauty of the mountains.
For skiers looking for a challenge, the new technical section offers two additional 1.4km circuits. With demanding climbs and technical descents, these routes are ideal for seasoned skiers, giving you a different perspective of this high-altitude playground.
The routes
Depending on your level, you can choose from an easy and accessible route for beginners and intermediate skiers or two more technical routes with bends and elevation changes for those with more experience.
Blue run
- 6km (round trip), 15m elevation gain
- Accessible for beginners
Red and black runs
Red run:
- 1.4km, 45m elevation gain
- For intermediate and advanced skiers
Black run:
- 1.4km, 112m elevation gain
- For advanced skiers
