Frequently asked questions

On the spot

The slopes are set to “In preparation” every evening until the following morning.
Which slopes will be open is decided each morning depending on:

  • the weather conditions;
  • the safety in the ski area;
  • the actions required in certain areas.

You can check the live updates on our Opening hours page or using the Skiif app.

You can check the state of the slopes and our ski lifts in real time on our Opening hours page or on the Infosnow Verbier website. The other option available is to download the Skiif app, which allows you to follow the live updates.

Starting this winter, the 4 Vallées ski area has been integrated in the Skiif app, which was designed to make it easier for skiers to get around the slopes.

This GPS app allows you to follow your position on the slopes in real time, share it with your friends and family and create personalised routes. It also offers the option of viewing our ski area in 3D and finding our restaurants. It is much more practical than a traditional paper map of the slopes.

Thanks to its high elevation of between 1,500 and 3,300 metres and its naturally high snow coverage, Verbier guarantees good skiing conditions from November to April. In addition, a high-performance artificial snow network ensures the best possible experience all season long.

Verbier is home to several ski schools like the Verbier Ski and Snowboard School, which offer skiing and snowboarding lessons for all levels from beginners to experts.

  • verbier4vallées.ch: The official website of the Verbier ski lifts. It provides all kinds of information concerning the ski area, the purchasing of passes and the ski lifts.
  • verbier.ch: The official website of the Tourist Information office, where you can find all the information you may require concerning the resort: accommodation, events, activities and amenities.

Tickets and activities

The prices can be found on our corresponding page: Winter pass prices.
Good to know:

  • The prices at the cash desks may differ from the prices offered online.
  • Tip: Book online to get the best deals!

Multi-day packages are consecutive.

Our ski passes cover four separate areas: Bruson, La Tzoumaz/Savoleyres, Verbier and the 4 Vallées. Please check our interactive ski map to see the boundaries and choose the best pass for you.

Please note that if you wish to ski from the Nendaz/Veysonnaz and Thyon (Printse sector) only, please buy your ski pass on their respective websites.

The passes are personalised and non-transferable. They are only valid during the hours of use published on the website. In case of fraud (for example: purchasing of the pass by a third party, sharing of the pass with a third party, failure to report the theft of a pass), the person having fraudulently used a pass will be automatically subject to a fine of an amount freely determined by 4 Vallées, which may be up to CHF 400 for fraud involving annual passes (CHF 200 for the person who has lent their pass and CHF 200 for the person who has used it).

Further information on this topic is available in Section 7 Pass and data carrier of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS).

Verbier has much more on offer than just skiing! Here are just some of the winter experiences you won’t want to miss: toboggan run, zip line, hiking and snowshoe hiking, paragliding… To explore all the available activities, please check out our More winter activities page.

Day passes for hikers are only available day by day online or at the cash desk. You can purchase the first day and then add the remaining days to your keycard one by one

Without insurance, no refund will be considered by Téléverbier SA.

When you buy your ski pass, you have the option of purchasing insurance. We offer two types of insurance, ranging from CHF 4.00 to CHF 6.00 per day per ski pass.
You will find all the information about their respective coverages on our website and in our general terms and conditions.

The Club Card can be purchased online.
To purchase the Club Card, you will need an account on the Club Card website. You can create one directly when purchasing the card.

Ticket purchase

We offer a 10% discount on the 4 Vallées and Bruson passes if the order is placed at least 10 days before the first day of skiing. The price with the discount applied is shown in black; the original price before the discount is shown struck through in red.

The 10% discount is not offered for the Verbier and La Tzoumaz passes, where we operate a dynamic pricing system, which is often a better deal than the prices available at the cash desk.

The half-day passes (valid from 12.30 pm) are exclusively available from our points of sale (Châble, Verbier (Médran and Savoleyres), Bruson and La Tzoumaz), at our ticket machines and not online.

You can pay online using: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Twint. We are happy to accept these methods of payment as well as Reka cards and cheques at our points of sale (Châble, Médran, Savoleyres and La Tzoumaz).

At the payment step, you can add the gift voucher code (starting with TEL...), a value voucher code, or a promotional code from a partner in the fields provided.

Please note: if you want to buy 2 passes using 2 different vouchers, please make the 2 purchases separately.

The personalisation step comes just before payment. Once you have selected your passes and added them to your cart, you need to personalise them by entering the first name, last name and date of birth of the holder as well as choosing the delivery option.

If the pass personalisation boxes are green and all the mandatory fields have a green outline, the issue may be that the telephone prefix has not been entered correctly. Please use the following format: 0041 or +41. Should the error persist, please do not hesitate to contact us and include screenshots.

Only the annual passes can be sent by post; the address requested is merely the billing address.

The order confirmation is sent once payment has been validated. Don’t forget to check your spam folder and verify that you entered your e-mail address correctly. If there was an error in your e-mail address, please send us an e-mail so that we can resend the confirmation.

You can choose from three options when personalising the passes:

  • Reload your keycard (01-1614-…)
  • Reload your SwissPass (physical card only)
  • QR code to scan (section passes)
  • You can collect your pass in person at one of our points of sale or ticket machines (Châble, Verbier (Médran et Savoleyres), Bruson and La Tzoumaz).*

*If you don't have a Keycard yet. The price of the Keycard is CHF 5.-/piece. (non-refundable but reusable)
