Bruson
Experience the Val de Bagnes on skis
Bruson is situated opposite Verbier and the two are linked by the 8-seater cable car that goes from Le Châble to the Mayens de Bruson. Set in the heart of a nature reserve, Bruson village has lots of charm. It is a calm, family-orientated resort with a variety of slopes and exceptional snow conditions. Freeriders will enjoy zooming down the marked trails that lead them through forests, while admiring the beautiful, natural surroundings.
From the summit of La Pasay (2,166 m), you can take in a magnificent view of Verbier and the surrounding peaks, from the Mont-Blanc massif to the Bernese Alps, including those in the Val de Bagnes (Ruinette, Pleureur, etc.)
This small resort is a favourite amongst fans of “freerando”, (ski touring with very little change in altitude), who thoroughly enjoy the powder snow in an exceptional setting.
Wild Val de Bagnes
During the summer, you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature as you follow the signposted paths that wind through forests and mountain pastures. Bruson also attracts keen Enduro riders, who like to explore the challenging tracks that lead them to the Val de Bagnes or the Pays du Saint-Bernard.
Take a break at the Raclett’house, a friendly bar and restaurant at the beginning of the bisse des Ravines, in Bruson. Here, you can enjoy local cheese and Valais specialities. On Sundays, during the summer, various events are organised in a tent which accommodates 120 people, and children can have fun in the playground.
