Chute du bisse
Savoleyres -Saint Christophe
This hiking trail takes you to the less well-known and frequented parts of Verbier 4Vallées. From the upper Savoleyres cable car station, follow the path towards the Pierre Avoi. When you get to the Comba Plâne junction, continue towards the La Marlenaz crests.
From there, a narrow, steep path hugs the side of the mountain, providing you with breathtaking views of Le Levron. It will lead you to the waterfall at the end of the bisse (chute du bisse – see bisse du Levron).
If you’re afraid of heights, you can avoid this stretch by rejoining the bisse from Comba Plâne via the La Marlenaz stables.
From the waterfall, follow the path that winds downwards and then take the forest trail to the ruins of the Château de Verbier, where you can learn all about the history of the castle. The path carries on to the Saint-Christophe viewpoint.
To return to Verbier, walk through the forest to Patier, where you can get a shuttle bus back to the centre of the resort.
