Welcome to Verbier
If you were asked what Verbier means to you, you might say freedom or adventure, thrills or spectacular scenery, or maybe all four. And you would be quite right!
In Switzerland, the Verbier 4Vallées resort is like no other. It has 410 km of runs, ranging from the easiest to the most demanding. Verbier is also famous in the freeride world, with 7 secure, marked but ungroomed routes, such as the Mont-Gelé, the Col des Mines, the Vallon d’Arbi and the Mur de Chassoure.
All are guaranteed to bring a thrill of excitement to those who have already ventured there. These itineraries allow you to make the best of the powder snow in safe conditions.
Mont-Fort 3,330 m
From the platform at the top of the Mont-Fort, the highlight of the area, you can admire the breathtaking panorama over the most magnificent peaks in the Alps. From there, experienced skiers can tackle the black run which, depending on the snow conditions, is a moguled course or is buried under a blanket of fresh powdery snow.
Thrill-seekers can try the Mont 4 Zipline, the highest in Europe. It is 1,400 m long, with a descending elevation of 383 m, and allows you to reach a speed of 100 km/h!
Fun and sensations
If you want to try something new, make your way to the snowpark or have a go at ski cross or speed skiing. With friends and family, you can enjoy the toboggan run in La Tzoumaz. As for biking enthusiasts, they can try one of the 9 downhill or 23 enduro trails in the area.
