Dog sledding
Become a musher for the day
A unique experience, a taste of the Far North and an opportunity to enjoy the snow off the slopes. Glide along on a sledge with Aline Luisier and her huskies (she owns 16 of them!).
She discovered the world of mushing when she was 14 and is very keen to share this wonderful experience with you as you get to know these faithful, hard-working dogs.
Options
There are two options in the winter, both leaving from Les Ruinettes:
The panoramic tour is a relaxing, 5 km trip through beautiful scenery, where you can learn all about the husky team and life as a musher. Drawn by 10 dogs, you can marvel at the beautiful landscape as you glide along. The tour costs 160 CHF per person.
If you prefer something a bit sportier and would like to try your hand at mushing, go for the half-day discovery tour. Once you have got to know the huskies, you can stroke them and learn how to harness them. Then, you can have a go at steering the sledge, which is drawn by two or three dogs. This activity costs 350 CHF.
