Japanese garden
Tortin
An exceptional natural site
The Japanese garden is situated below the classic Chassoure - Tortin itinerary. While skiers rarely notice it, its exceptional beauty delights summer hikers.
Closely resembling a landscaped garden, with its vivid green pastures and meandering stream, the Japanese garden is easily accessible to everyone.
Starting from the Tortin lifts, follow the signs for the “Jardin japonais” along the track. After a few bends, take the path indicated by the yellow signpost, which will lead you to this enchanting garden.
You can reach the Tortin lifts from the Gentianes pass (col des Gentianes – Verbier side) or from the Siviez car park (Nendaz and Rhône valley side).
