The Alpvengers Nordic Tour is a connected Nordic championship that reinvents cross-country skiing by making it fun, accessible and independent. Open to all and completely free, it takes place throughout the winter in several resorts in the Alps, where everyone can participate at their own pace.
The principle is simple: download the Alpvengers app and start your challenge directly from your smartphone. You can ski whenever you want and validate your event independently.
Two formats are available to suit all preferences:
- Time trial mode to try to beat a local athlete or improve your own time.
- Discovery mode to ski without pressure, answer quizzes and learn more about the area, its wildlife and its history.
Each participation, each metre covered and each challenge completed earns you points. These points allow you to climb in a double ranking, speed and commitment, while unlocking immediate rewards from local partners (restaurants, rental companies or shops).
At the end of the season, the best participants in both rankings win major prizes, ranging from holidays to equipment or season passes. And the more challenges you complete, in one or more resorts, the more you increase your chances of winning.
Designed as a sporting but friendly experience, the Nordic Tour showcases the regions and their local players while encouraging Nordic skiing for all levels.
The challenge is open from 15 December to 31 March.
Ruinettes – La Chaux
This stage of the Nordic Tour invites you to discover the Ruinettes – La Chaux trails in a spectacular setting. With its 4.7 km and a vertical drop of 168.78 m, this beginner-level course is perfect for learning cross-country skiing while enjoying the alpine panoramas. As a bonus, an exclusive goodie awaits you at the ski lift ticket office in Médran!
