We are thrilled to announce the start of the ski season at the Verbier 4Vallées ski area! Verbier has been transformed into a winter wonderland over the past few weeks with more than a metre of snow! We can officially launch the 2023/2024 winter season in outstanding conditions!
Thanks to the recent snowfall, the pistes at Lac des Vaux and Les Attelas - Ruinettes will open from Friday, 10 November, offering snowsports fans the chance to hit the slopes for the first time this season.
Early risers can look forward to a treat on opening day too: the first skiers to tackle the pistes on Friday morning will receive a free coffee and croissant. And there’s also a 20% discount on the 1-day ski pass for the Verbier sector every weekend in November.
Practical information:
Friday, November 10:
- Le Châble - Verbier gondola (the line is currently undergoing maintenance work and will enter continuous service again from Saturday, 11 November). For this reason, there are several options for getting to Verbier on November 10: drive to Verbier and park in the different Verbier parking lots. The other option is to park at the Curala parking lot in Le Châble, then take a bus to the ski resort.
- Médran 2 gondola from 8.45am to 4.15pm
- Lac des Vaux 1 ski lift from 9am to 4.15pm
- Funispace from 8.50am to 4pm
Saturdays and Sundays in November:
- Le Châble - Verbier gondola from 5.15am to 11.50pm
- Médran 4 gondola (Barnes Line) 8.45am - 4pm
- Funispace from 8.50am to 4.15pm
- Lac des Vaux ski lift 1 from 9am to 4pm
- Attelas chairlift from 9am to 4.15pm
The resort will open on weekends only in November and is scheduled to open daily from 2 December.
The Médran (Verbier) and Le Châble sales points are open from Monday to Sunday. You can find comprehensive information on which lifts are open and when they are operating here.
Don’t miss out: To mark the start of the winter season, the Opening Session event is making a comeback on Saturday, 9 December 2023! The idea behind the event is for people to come and ski dressed as St Nicholas. For all those coming to ski dressed in a costume and registered in advance, the price of skiing for the day is set at CHF 5.
A free train will run from Geneva to Le Châble, stopping at all the main towns along the way. A limited number of places are available this year, and registrations must be made via the Verbier 4Vallées website.
