The Opening Session event marks the start of the 2025/2026 winter season! What is the concept? Come to the Verbier ski area dressed as St. Nicholas.
All tickets for this event are sold out!
An event that combines fancy dress, festivities and skiing! For the occasion, the price of a day’s skiing is just CHF 5 for anyone wearing their best St. Nicholas costume.
The programme for the day begins early in the morning with a free train (in collaboration with RegionAlps) departing from Geneva and stopping at all the main towns between Geneva and Le Châble. You can look forward to coffee and croissants at Le Châble train station and at the cable car station in Verbier (Médran).
After a few ski runs, don’t miss the gathering on Inkontro’s terrace for a musical happy hour. The party continues at Médran Café, where a cocktail will be offered to all the red-suited participants ready to dance to après-ski tunes.

★ This event supports the Solidarité Eau Afrique association, based in Fully. Since 2018, it has been dedicated to providing drinking water through the creation of wells in remote villages in Benin.
