Téléverbier is delighted to announce its partnership with Piguet Galland, the exclusive sponsor of the future Les Esserts-Savoleyres Télémixte line. As a result, this new installation will be named the Piguet Galland Line.
The partnership, which will initially be for 5 years, is based on our shared values: excellence, innovation and a commitment to high-quality tourism, characteristic of Verbier. It is born of our common desire to contribute to the harmonious and sustainable development of the region.
A Swiss bank dedicated to individual success
Piguet Galland is a private Swiss bank, specialising in wealth management. Our services cover asset management, investment and financial advice, and our mission is to assist our clients with their life projects.
A partnership formalised at Médran
On 14 April, Mrs Michèle Luyet, COO of Piguet Galland, Selman Bicaco, Head of Private Banking at Piguet Galland, and Laurent Vaucher, CEO of Téléverbier, formalised their partnership during a ceremony marking the launch of the new line. This was followed by a convivial reception in Le Bistrot, a restaurant at Les Attelas, in the Verbier 4Vallées ski area.
Selman Bicaco, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management de la Banque Piguet Galland, stated that “This partnership with Téléverbier embodies our commitment towards sustainable projects with significant added value for Switzerland and the French-speaking regions in particular. Our involvement in the Piguet Galland Line is proof of our attachment to Verbier and its lifestyle, which embodies elegance, innovation and respect for the environment.”
The Piguet Galland Line: designed for comfort and accessibility
The Piguet Galland Line, the result of an in-depth study of mobility in the mountains, will provide:
- 10-seater cabins to ensure a smooth journey from Les Esserts (1700 m) to the top of Savoleyres (2200 m)
- 6-seater lifts linking the middle station, Les Planards, to the upper Savoleyres station
- Three separate stations, designed to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility, families with prams and cyclists during the summer
This will not only replace the existing infrastructure but will greatly enhance the customer experience in winter and summer. The connection between Verbier and La Tzoumaz will be faster, more comfortable and entirely skiable.
Opening in two stages
The Les Planards-Savoleyres section will start operating in the 2025-2026 winter season. The entire system will be fully operational in 2026, which will mark the beginning of a new era for fans of winter sports and outdoor activities.
Téléverbier and Piguet Galland are proud to join forces to make the Piguet Galland Line a symbol of modernity, mobility and local support.
