Verbier 4Vallées and Thyon are launching Skiif, the community geolocalisation app designed to make life on the slopes easier.
The GPS app, which features all the conventional GPS codes, tracks you in real time and enables you to trace your routes. One of Skiif’s benefits is a digital map of the ski area to guide you from one slope to the next.
Designed with your safety in mind, Skiif includes a geolocalised ‘SOS’ button and a ‘select your skiroom’ feature which takes you to your point of departure in a click. Thanks to the user community, information on the condition of the slopes and how busy the ski lifts are is always right up to date. Skiif is a collaborative tool providing a much smoother skiing experience.
The app allows you to check the resort’s piste map, to send your position to friends so you can meet up and find restaurants for a bite to eat.
