The Opening Session will take place on Saturday 5 December 2026.
The idea? Come dressed as Saint Nicholas to the Verbier ski resort to celebrate the start of the winter season and enjoy a special rate of CHF 5.–.
FOR A GOOD CAUSE
This event supports the Annapurna Association, based in Le Châble, in the Val de Bagnes. Founded in 2007, the Annapurna Association is a Swiss humanitarian organisation that works to help disadvantaged children in Pokhara, Nepal, by improving their living conditions and promoting their access to education.

Tickets are sold online only during November. Every day, at different times, a certain number of tickets – with or without a train journey – go on sale.
Two types of ticket are available:
• Ticket only: CHF 5.–, ski pass included.
• Ticket + train: CHF 5.–, ski pass and train journey from Geneva included. The train journey is free.
The train timetable will be sent to you by email at a later date.
Congratulations, you’re one of the lucky ones! Don’t forget your best St Nicholas costume: you’ll need it to get into the event and take advantage of this special rate.
Absolutely! Annual pass holders don’t need to buy an extra ticket. Access to this event is included with your annual pass. All you have to do to take part is come dressed as Saint Nicholas (or Santa Claus as you may know him)!
Not to worry! You can still come and enjoy the day’s entertainment by buying a Verbier 1-day pass.
Yes you do! This is what the whole day is about, so you really do have to turn up in your very best Santa outfit! If you don’t, unfortunately, you will have to pay the same price for the day as for the Verbier 1-day pass.
If the event has to be cancelled, no refunds will be given.
