The Verbier 4Vallées ski area held its traditional clean-up day last Friday.
Nature is truly beautiful, so it’s a shame so much litter is left behind in the mountains every year. Before the start of the summer season each year, all ski lift employees are invited to spend a day working in small groups throughout the resort to pick up the rubbish people have left outside during the winter.
This year they were able to collect some 30 m3 of rubbish.
This summer, remember not to leave any litter behind on our beautiful mountains: take any packaging, tissues or cigarette stubs with you when you return to the valley.
The Verbier E-Bike Festival is also joining forces with the Summit Foundation to organise a clean-up day on Wednesday, 13 August. You can sign up online using the form (link below).
Let’s keep the mountains clean together!
